退伍军人事务办公室位于Crites Hall 221室. 我们对退伍军人开放, 家属, and family members to answer questions and provide assistance to veterans and 家属 wishing to enroll for their 好处.

In the event that 军事 members are called to active duty/deployment while currently enrolled at CSC, 会员可以选择:

To petition for an Incomplete Grade, student's must fill out and submit the 不完整的成绩申请表格 给具体课程的讲师.  If approved by the instructor, the petition is then forwarded to the Dean.

学生的责任

Some education 好处 are for 退伍军人 and some are for the spouse and/or 家属 of 退伍军人. It can take the VA up to 12 weeks to process education benefit applications. Chadron State College does not determine Veteran eligibility for 好处 (education 好处, 基本房屋津贴或其他津贴. If you have questions on how eligibility is determined you may contact the Regional VA Education Center in St. 路易斯314-552-9741或888-442-4551. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the VA for verification.

  • Communicate any enrollment changes (add, drop, withdrawal, change of major, etc.)，并尽快送交退伍军人服务办事处. Registration and enrollment changes may affect student 好处 and in some cases may cause a return and repayment of funds.
  • Make payment arrangements with the Student Financial Services Office for charges billed by Chadron State College. 这必须在学期付款截止日期前完成.
  • Self-report monthly enrollment information to the VA (Chapter 30 and 1606). This can be done over the phone 1-877-VA-ECERT (1-877-823-2378) or through the 波的网站.
  • Keep their address and direct deposit information current with the VA. Address changes need to be communicated to the 退伍军人 Services Office as well.

In order for Chadron State College to process or award any credit hours for 军事 Service, 请寄一份DD214的副本给我 veteranservices@dimafaham.com. Your DD-214 will fill the requirement for Essential Studies Outcome #11 - 3 hours. You can also submit your Joint Service Transcript or Air University/Community College of the 空军 Transcripts to transcript@dimafaham.com to see if any other 军事 schools or coursework will transfer into credit hours. Keep in mind that not all 军事 schools/coursework will relate to Chadron State College offered courses.

军事学费援助计划

军事 Tuition Assistance is a benefit paid to eligible members of the Army, 海军, 海军陆战队, 空军, 和海岸警卫队. Congress has given each service the ability to pay up to 100% for the tuition expenses of its members.

Chadron State College follows the 2018年退伍军人福利和过渡法案 and will not impose any penalty including: 1) the assessment of late fees; 2) the denial of access to classes; 3) libraries or other institutional facilities and/or 4) require a Chapter 31 or Chapter 33 recipient borrow additional funds to cover the individual’s inability to meet his or her financial obligations to Chadron State College due to the delayed disbursement of a payment by the U.S. 退伍军人事务部. This requirement is limited to the portion of funds paid by the VA. The covered individual must contact the 业务办公室 to request an exception to the College’s payment policy.
